Igniting the flame of passion within all women to Find, Keep, and Share their Moxy through inspiring stories, empowering events and worldwide community.

Women's History month began on March 1. This month is a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture and society. Today, women still earn only 77 cents for every $1 earned by men.

"Women's History Month honors the giants of American history. But it must also recognize all of our country's women - those who strive to make the dream of equality a reality on a daily basis. This March and throughout the year, Congress must keep fighting to ensure that the voices of America's women maintain their central place in our country's past, present, and future."  ~Speaker- Nancy Pelosi

In honor of Women's History month, Moxy Women is pleased to bring to you two stories of women- one present and one past; Jane Castor, the first female Chief of Police in Tampa, Florida and Frances Anderson, stricken with polio at the age of 11 years and left paralyzed for life.  Both of these women are true examples of the spirit and determination of women.
